WHY NOT TRY OUR AWARD-WINNING SLEEP TECH?

People

We’ve got a lot to be proud of at Simba, but we wouldn’t be here without our people. So wherever we can, we put their wellbeing first. It’s why we commit to fair and safe working conditions across our entire supply chain, at a minimum. And why we’re always coming up with new initiatives to support them. Taking our innovative spirit and running with it, we pledge to bring better sleep to our wider community and beyond.

Our people

We’re our best selves when we feel supported, so our employees come first; at their request, we’ve embraced flexible working, and we’re fully remote, following a Work from Anywhere policy. And as a result, we’ve been named one of the Top 25 Small Companies to Work For, as voted for by our very own Simba employees. Even though we don’t see each other all the time, we want to make sure our people always feel supported. So we don’t just keep our ears and inboxes open, we host a variety of wellbeing initiatives all year long. Like breathwork classes for stress, walking challenges, and our 24/7 Stress Helpline.

Our wider community

We’re committed to protecting the human rights of everyone in our global supply chain, and we’re confident factory transparency can help with this. It doesn’t just help us measure our impact on the planet, but supports our people. A win, win. So our entire Tier 1 facilities are published to reflect this, and we’re aiming for full transparency across Tier 2 and 3 sites this year. We also ask that our suppliers sign the Simba Sleep Supplier Code of Conduct to support ethical working, and to safeguard our people and the environment, our supply chain is almost fully SEDEX compliant.

Our Supply Chain

TIER 1:
Suppliers we directly communicate with and do business with, like our manufacturing facilities

TIER 2:
The people our Tier 1 partners get their materials from

TIER 3:
One more step removed from our final products, this is where our raw materials come from

Our Partnerships

At Simba, we want to be a force for good. This means doing all we can to improve the lives and sleep of those in our wider community. With our charity partnerships, we’re always looking for ways to do better. If we can extend our support, we will.

Sleep Charity Logo

“Working together drives forward our ambition to empower the whole nation to sleep better." - Lisa Artis, Deputy CEO

The Sleep Charity is on our wavelength. Providing advice and support to help the nation sleep better, they know good sleep is essential to a healthy, happy life. And that this support should be accessible to everyone. We can’t help but agree, so we want to provide insightful and evidence-based information to our customers, people and across our supply chain. We also assist on The Sleep Charity helpline to facilitate access to effective, consistent support to all those with sleep issues.

Every Youth Logo

“It’s impossible to overstate how grateful young people are to be receiving a mattress and a pillow from Simba! These donations have alleviated some of the difficulties young people face and have allowed them to go to work or college the next day after a good night’s rest.” - Joanna di Stefano, Project Officer.

We’ve been working with UK charity, EveryYouth for over a year now. The national charity for young people experiencing homelessness, they aim to give vulnerable young people access to mental health support, employment and a home. With the largest reach of any frontline homeless charity in the UK, they’re helping as many vulnerable 16-25-year-olds as possible. To help them achieve their dreams, EveryYouth offers unhoused young people the mental health support and jobs coaching they need – but they also help them find somewhere safe to call home. That’s why we’ve donated 623 mattresses and 550 pillows to individuals moving so far. And we’ll be giving more.

Saracens Logo

“Simba are a brand that we are extremely proud to work alongside over a long period of time, and they are a fantastic member of the Saracens family. We are completely aligned with their values as a business and would like to thank them hugely for their continued support.” - Lucy Wray, Saracens CEO

Work hard, play hard, sleep better – there’s a reason Saracens is one of our longest standing partnerships. As the Official Performance Sleep Partner of the club, we want to help them ready for the demands of professional rugby through better sleep. The best part? We’re delighted to renew this partnership for the 2023/24 season, making sure each player receives a mattress designed for optimal rest and high-quality sleep.

NHS Logo

At Simba, we don’t want to make a temporary impact, but a lasting one. One of our longest standing partnerships, we offer additional savings to NHS employees – working closely with Blue Light card holders and the Defence Discount Service to give them a great night’s sleep. If they can work tirelessly to keep us healthy, we can help them drift off.

Shaping a better sleep for all

At Simba, we’re determined to shape a better sleep for all. But with millions of children in the UK currently living in Bed Poverty, not everyone is getting the sleep they need. That’s where our Simba Sleep Dream Space comes in. Launching soon, we’ll be providing bed bundles to vulnerable children, giving them a safer environment for better sleep.
